Croissant Small — Emily Gillis x Zachary Frankel

The Croissant offers an elegant geometric design with a unique and lively character. This versatile product comes in two sizes, making it suitable for shutters, drawers, cabinets and doors. With its playful, distinctive look, the Croissant can enhance and bring joy to intimate and industrial interiors alike.

The Croissant is first carved from timber. The timber is then wax cast and hand poured in bronze. Due to the hand-made nature of the handle, each item may vary slightly in texture and colouring. Over time it will develop a natural patina. This can be restored to its original state by polishing.

Interior designer Emily Gillis and sculptor and furniture maker Zachary Frankel collaborate on original and custom fittings for residential and commercial interiors. Combining Emily’s professional experience in sourcing hardware and Zachary’s craftsmanship, the pair create unique and versatile pieces.
