The Egg is a smooth, minimal cabinet knob brimming with texture and character. Available in a range of finishes, the Egg is designed to enhance interiors from modern to antique, and everything in between. This petite knob is perfect for affixing to shutters, drawers and cabinets.
The Egg is first carved from timber. The timber is then wax cast and hand poured in bronze. Due to the handmade nature of the handle, each item may vary slightly in texture and colouring. Over time it will develop a natural patina. This can be restored to its original state by polishing.
Interior designer Emily Gillis and sculptor and furniture maker Zachary Frankel collaborate on original and custom fittings for residential and commercial interiors. Combining Emily’s professional experience in sourcing hardware and Zachary’s craftsmanship, the pair create unique and versatile pieces.
Finishes: Distressed bronze, natural bronze.
